The Thirteenth Annual International Health Regulations (IHR) Exercise Crystal was held at WHO Regional Office for the Western Pacific on 2-3 December 2021. The exercise used a scenario of an emerging novel influenza pandemic within the ongoing coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic to test IHR communications critical to initiating a national, regional and global pandemic response.
