  • On 29-30 April, 2024, WHO’s Regional Office for the Western Pacific convened the Expert Meeting on Accelerating Access to Human Genomics for Public Health in Manila, bringing together senior experts in national genomic initiatives, cancer genomics, rare disease and congenital disorders, bioethics and research policy to bolster regional initiatives on the field.   • On 5 April 2024, members of the Philippine diplomatic corps, representatives of the United Nations, other key partners, and the WHO workforce, gathered in the Regional Office for a high-level event to mark World Health Day 2024.
