The Thirteenth Pacific Health Ministers Meeting (PHMM) was held in French Polynesia on 5-8 August 2019. Health leaders from across the Pacific discuss current and future health challenges and intended solutions. The PHMM was hosted in Pape’ete by the Government of French Polynesia, with support from the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Pacific Community (SPC). The 13th PHMM’s agenda included: universal health coverage (covering primary care reforms, health information systems and health human resources); climate change and health; Pacific health security; noncommunicable diseases; immunization and vaccine preventable diseases; and Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH).
